A few years back, I thought the “space elevator” was peak insanity.

I was wrong. Ingoring Coriolis forces, material strength, and associated dynamics was not peak insanity: crypto emerged to save the world from evil fiat currencies.

Thousands of crypto coins and scams were not enough; the latest episode in the sequel is a “bitcoin reserve.”

Trips to Mars are a wonderful science fiction subject but probably unrealistic using current technology. Many things can go wrong in space during trips lasting several months. In the absence of a more advanced propulsion technology to shorten the trip duration to a couple of weeks at most, the idea is doomed.

Then, recently, all those drones in the skies at night. Amazing conspiracy theories have emerged.

Are you trying to keep your sanity in the year of peak insanity? Don’t worry; many of us are in the same position.

I firmly believe that 2025 will usher in a partial return to normalcy and break bubbles.

This may get painful for those who invested in insanity. Reality always prevails. Nowadays, the process is slower due to things like social media and information networks. Eventually, reality is unforgiving. “Always has been.”
